Buddies only. GET IT!?! Haha. I am so witty. This journal is all downhill from here.

Still, if you would like me to friend you, let me know. I won't have a problem with it. Comments are screened so I can feel more authoritative.

And now I'm turning down subbing jobs left and right because I really just want to be lazy. Hey. That's my prerogative.

I was reading one of the smaller, surrounding town's local papers, and for some reason decided to stop by the "Letters to the Editor" section.

Is there such thing as a newspaper troll?Collapse )

Don't forget to turn up your speakers. The epic music makes it all the sweeter.

I got The Beatles RockBand for my birthday. I played through the story mode, and it was entirely delightful. But, the real unexpected treat came in the animations. I should have known because, despite its age, Yellow Submarine is still one of my favorite animated movies of all time. Beatles music set to trippy animations make for one of the coolest things ever. Watch this and then try to tell me that you wouldn't watch an animated Beatles movie.

And there's an ending animation that made me happy over Ringo's shoes and Paul's adorable lips and teeth. Oh, and John's cute smugness and George's handsome stoicism. :D

It would be better than Across the Universe because it would actually star The Beatles as characters (they didn't do their own voices in any of the animated stuff, so it's not like they would have to leave George and John out). There would be no cheesy, half-assed romantic plot, and pretty much all those other flaws Across the Universe had (though I don't believe it was a bad movie--just flawed). Plus, I love them and would do anything for more shit to fangirl over. AND. I love cracked-out hippie visuals.

Well, c'mon, some animation company out there. Get on it.

We got a bucket load of snow dumped on us Thursday. The trees hadn't shed all their leaves yet, so many of them came down, taking power lines with them. Thankfully, and for the first time ever, my part of town was untouched by the power outages. Still, here's a crummy picture taken with my cell phone once again. I didn't realize the sky was so pretty until I uploaded the pic onto my computer.

Big picture for those with smaller resolutions.Collapse )

Woah. Two days in a row. Woah.

You all should find this funny. I can't be that big of a dork.

Victor Borge was a famous concert pianist, who, while being very talented, was mostly known for his humor. He's like...a stand up musician. Enjoy.

Taken from the extra chapters of Lovely Complex. Yoshi is a very serious boy with serious issues. I couldn't stop laughing for quite some time after seeing this, suffice to say. I'm hoping this is some scanlator trying to bring the lulz, but you can never be sure.

This pic looks small enough to me, but if a cut is requested, a cut you shall have.
